    The visualization layer of ATLAS is deployed as an online service, which includes the following features:

    • Powerful web-based interface for building, deploying and managing content-driven multilingual web sites
    • Clear separation of responsibilities between publishers, information designers, and content editors
    • Wide choice of predefined page templates and styles
    • Wide choice of functionalities that can be included in newly created web sites with a point-and-click interface: multilingual full-text and similarity search; automatic annotation of important words, phrases and names; automatic categorization and summarization; machine translation; versioning of structured content; user management; third-party software modules; dynamic content propagation across web sites;

  • D2.2 - i-Librarian and EUDocLib pilots

    The two online content services built with i‑Publisher will be deployed. The functionalities that will be available in i-Librarian and EUDocLib, including those to be completed by Milestone 3, are listed below:
    • Authoring and publishing of heterogeneous multilingual content
    • Language processing of text content, supported in seven languages – English, German, Bulgarian, Croatian, Greek, Polish and Romanian
    • Multilingual full-text and similarity search
    • Automatic annotation of important words, phrases and name entities
    • Enhanced content navigation based on text annotations
    • Automatic categorization and summarization of text content
    • Machine translation between the seven project languages
    • System for correcting automatic translations and submitting corrections to EuroMatrix Plus

    The user evaluation plan describes the design of a user evaluation study of the envisaged software solutions (objectives, target user groups, raised hypotheses, the experiments set-up, etc.) and a plan to conduct it.

    Deployment / Public

    The project web site is the primary source of online information both for the general public and for specific categories of users. Furthermore, a newsletter will be distributed monthly. A platform supporting communication and collaboration is made available to support the activities of the user communities.
